Pamper yourself with Aromatherapy bath and body products from Planet Earth Essential Oils! Formulated by a mom who is also certified in Aromatherapy, they offer a whole line of products that are made using Certified Organic ingredients, wild harvest ingredients and the purest medicinal grade essential oils that are chosen for their aroma and therapeutic qualities. Products are naturally scented by Attars and Herbs, and never any ingredients that have pesticides or any fragrance oils that are loaded with toxins. Planet Earth Essential Oils has a variety of face and body care products, lip balms, organic perfumes, gift sets, and goodies for mommy and baby too.
I received the Citrus Delight Organic Perfume Balm to review. The idea of a balm instead of a spray perfume is new for me. I never thought this type of product existed! Sure, there are scented lotions and such, but this is really neat.

First of all the aroma of this natural perfume is absolutely divine. It is made by a Certified Aromatherapist after all! It contains very few ingredients, including a proprietary blend of 7 essential oils: Neroli, Mandarin, Lemon, Lime, Sweet Orange, Tangerine, and Pink Grapefruit. I have come to love citrus scents over the last year simply because most floral scents make me sneeze! This scent has the slightest hint of floral from the Neroli essential oil, but it is beautiful with the citrus. So much so it's almost mesmerizing! It doesn't have an "old lady" scent or anything, in case you are wondering. It's young and fresh in my opinion.

Using your finger, just apply the balm to the back of your neck and inner wrist to wear. A little bit of this balm definitely goes a LONG way and the scent stays for hours too. It's strong aroma is almost like a concentrated lotion, so you don't need a lot at all. Despite how tiny this 1/2 oz tin is, this will last you for months, if not a year (especially if you don't use it every day!). The bead detail on the top of the lid is also very cute. It really gives the tin a unique, attractive look which is perfect for gift-giving.

I love that there are no chemical preservatives, chemical dyes, synthetic fragrances, or any harmful chemicals in this product, or in any products from Planet Earth Essential Oils. I'm generally don't wear perfume because of all the nasty chemicals in them, so I'm glad there are natural perfume options out there. I also really appreciate the clear warnings for pregnant or nursing women to NOT use this product. Certain Essential Oils can cause various problems in pregnancy, including early labor, miscarriage, and problems with the baby to my understanding. It's best to stay on the side of caution and just avoid essential oils during those times in your life. You also should not use it on children, if you have high blood pressure or are epileptic.
