Redmond Clay Powder, Facial Mud & Bath Salt Plus {Giveaway - Ends 11/22}

 I received complimentary product for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own.

Ever stumble upon a remarkable product you wish you have known about before? Redmond Trading Company keeps surprising me with positive experiences I've had with their various products. First it was Real Salt (review coming soon), then the Earthpaste that we use everyday, and now it's a few more that I'm totally in love with. In my journey towards natural living, I'm constantly on the search for high quality health and wellness products that are beneficial for my family. Redmond products are incredibly natural and pure with no additives or junk, so I'm so thrilled to continue working with them.

Today I'm sharing with you three products I received from Redmond about two months ago: Redmond Clay Powder, Facial Mud, and Bath Salt Plus.

Redmond Clay Powder is a unique type of bentonite clay from the montmorillonite clay family. It is high in both sodium and calcium (as opposed to most which are one or the other), which makes it a very effective detoxing clay, as well as having remineralizing properties.

Redmond Clay Powder has many, many uses. It can be mixed with water and used internally and also externally. Redmond Clay gently draws toxins from the body and can aid the body in faster healing of common ailments such as digestive issues, fatigue, constipation, acid reflux, and many, many others when used internally by drinking or in capsule form. It can also be used externally mixed with water for faster healing of sunburns, insect bites, bruises, diaper rash, or even a lovely detox bath. This is an incredibly versatile, healing ingredient to have on hand in the medicine cabinet, bathroom, and kitchen. Redmond Clay contains over 50 trace minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, selenium, and zinc.

The Redmond Facial Mud is simply Redmond Clay Powder in hydrated form that is ready-to-use. It's wonderful for detoxing the face of impurities, removing excess oil, shrinking pores, and for a good deep clean. I find that immediately after washing off this mask my face will be pretty red in the areas where I had pimples or irritated skin. I can see that the clay was actually focusing in on my trouble spots! Although alarming at first, the redness disappears within fifteen minutes. I just continue with applying my toner and facial cream as usual without issues.

The texture of Facial Mud is similar to Earthpaste with it's slimy texture and brownish color. The only ingredients are water and clay, so this really is the most natural, purest mask I've ever used. As the directions say, it's important to apply in a generous layer on the face, and and wash off while still slightly moist. It seems to suddenly dry up and tighten, which is like any mask, uncomfortable, so the timing is a bit of trial and error. But, my skin feels milky soft and firm once rinsed off, and my pores do feel tighter. I have found that applying a thinner layer than suggested will dry faster, and my skin will tolerate using the mask more often as a result. Finding the right balance with any new product is important of course, but I highly recommend this mask as part of your beauty routine.

In the last few months I've learned just how much I enjoy a relaxing bath. Typically I reach for epsom salts, but Redmond Bath Salt Plus contains natural magnesium and also high concentrations of more than sixty trace minerals as well! This is clearly evident when you consider the rich reddish hue of the salt.

This ancient sea mineral salt really does wonders after an exhausting day. It promotes sound, restful sleep, soothes sore muscles, and helps remineralize the body. Along with a several drops of lavender essential oil to calm my mind, my coveted bath time routine is a long-awaited evening treat that I'm learning to give to myself more often.

Whether you're far into your natural living journey or just getting your feet wet, Redmond Trading Company is one of my top recommendations for promoting good health. Pure, powerful, and full of healthful benefits, any of their products would make a fabulous gift this holiday season. Enjoy!

I'm very interested in the Earthpaste—it looks like a great product. I'm also interested in the clay because I've heard about so many uses for clay and I want to put some in my first aid cabinet.
