Duracell Quantum :: The World's Most Advanced Alkaline Batteries

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Duracell. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Batteries keep our various household devices running such as our television remotes, flashlights, clocks, smoke detectors and of course lots of toys. We used to buy cheap-o batteries. But running out of batteries so often is not fun, especially when it involves your child's beloved toys.

We spend a lot of money on batteries in our house. Can you guess why?

Trains. Lots of motorized trains.

Early this year Buddy discovered motorized trains and tossed his wooden ones to the side. For us, the price of batteries is worth the immense joy our son experiences with his trains, but I hate that they run out of battery power so quickly! Whether he's playing with them at home or on-the-go, they are definitely used a lot each day.

Duracell recently released their new Quantum battery, the world's most advanced alkaline battery with unbeatable, long-lasting power. With it's distinct red color and classic copper top, the Duracell Quantum features a Hi-Density Core, and it's the only battery out there that has a PowerCheck indicator on the cell. Buddy loves showing me how much power is left in his trains' batteries, and I like seeing how much power is left before we need to change them.

These batteries work efficiently for low-drain and high-drain devices alike, and feature DURALOCK Power Preserve technology that locks in power for up to 10 years in storage. That's awesome news for emergency storage preparedness! Next year I plan on making stocking up on emergency supplies a priority. With Duracell Quantum batteries I don't have to rotate them out every year like I will need to do with food.

We've been using Duracell Quantum batteries for a couple weeks now. Buddy's trains that have them seem to still be going strong, and aren't slowing down even a tiny bit, which is a common symptom of a dying battery! This Christmas, I'm stocking up on Duracell Quantum batteries to prepare for the inevitable onslaught of new motorized trains and other battery-powered toys Buddy will receive. With his birthday the week before too, I'm glad there is such a powerful battery on the market.

Duracell has also created Quantum Heroes, a documentary style video series that shines a spotlight on the incredible work of first responders and their stories of sacrifice and heroism. This year, Duracell has donated one million batteries to first responders across the country to help them power their life-saving equipment.
It's so inspiring to see these courageous acts from first responders in these documentary tidbits. Grab a tissue!
