This is my new LBD! It's the Spanish Steps dress in black in an XS. It's fits perfectly! The top's jersey material is a great medium weight for cooler weather. The satin skirt is just darling and the sewn applique flower detail makes this dress so beautiful and full of vintage personality! If you want a more billowy look from the skirt, you may wish to buy a slip that will add some volume, but I prefer the simple look I get from it all by itself. This dress isn't fully lined so keep that in mind, but since it's black you technically won't need a slip. I like that the sleeves are not a full cap-sleeve but still offer plenty of modest coverage for ample comfort. The satin sash (sorry mine is so wrinkly in the photo!) hits at the perfect point on the waist for a great curvy shape and a little waist. Because it's sewn on to the dress you can't move it but it's really in the perfect position already.

Despite being a summer dress, it's actually quite easy to turn this one into a party, winter dress. Just add opaque black stockings and a dressy cardigan or coat! I'm so ready to party-it-up this Christmas with Shabby Apple!
