Once again, I'm thrilled to work with ecomom.com and bring you a review of some of their exciting products! You all know by now that I LOVE ecomom. Their commitment to bring you safe products for your family, and still create a smaller carbon footprint is evident and always appreciated. Their wide selection of eco-friendly products will keep you coming back for more, again and again!
Well, I wish I had a whole tube of this stuff! I like to use just a simple face wash or face bar soap every day, but I need a gritty skincare product occasionally to rejuvenate and exfoliate. This is a great solution! Pangea Organics brings a holistic approach to skincare, and it's clearly evident in their choice of ingredients. This facial mask is made with certified organic ingredients, essential oils, herbal extracts and is absolutely packed with a wonderful blend of nutrient-rich, all-natural, nature-derived ingredients. You'll also find green and white clays, sea vegetables, sugarcane, acai and goji berry extracts, oils, seeds, teas in this product. Talk about a delicious feast of super foods and antioxidants for your skin!
It was hard to actually spread it evenly over my whole face since it's quite a gritty texture. It's not a smooth paste by any means, which is actually quite nice. My face needs an overhaul every so often! Following the directions, I applied the mask to my face and left it on for 10 minutes (10-20 minutes on the directions). At that point you wet your fingers and massage the mask into your skin and then wash it off. What was nice about this mask is that you don't have to add water to it at the beginning which tends to dry my face out too much and makes the whole experience not so fun. This mask didn't harden too much either, unlike many other masks that make it difficult and uncomfortable to move. You can use this mask 1-3 times a week for a healthy glow and some seriously rejuvenated skin.
My skin was certainly extra smooth energized from this mask! My skin really liked it! The only thing I didn't particularly like was the strong scent. The culprit is the combination of all the essential oils and extracts in this product. I'd probably get used to it after regular use, but I thought it was just a bit too much. At least I wasn't sneezing like I do with some fragrances!

At least I wasn't sneezing like I do with some fragrances!
I also had the opportunity to try a sample of Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream. It's another product ecomom offers that is pretty darn natural with just a few ingredients. Just 6 ingredients to be exact: olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly, and propous extract. Not only that, but it's a proven ingredient combination from over 2,000 years ago. Celebrities swear by it and it's being hailed as a truly magical product.
Since it's all-natural, it's great to hear and read testimonials about this product's effectiveness. It's apparently great for hair, lips, face, and body and gives you that healthy glow we all want. This cream has been known to heal scars, wounds and skin conditions like eczema. I've had eczema for over 10 years and I'm wondering if it would be help me! I only received a small sample which I used on my hands, but would love to get my hands on a full-size product and see what it can really do over time.
This cream practically melts on contact and feels oily at first on your skin. The first ingredient is olive oil, so that makes sense. It actually looks more llike vaseline than a cream. Although it took about 20 minutes to really absorb into my skin, that didn't matter because I loved how soft my hands were! I always have dry, 80-year-old lady hands and never seem to find an effective product that I actually remember to use on a daily basis. This would be awesome to use every night before I go to bed! I'll be saving up for this product!
Price: Pangea Organics Japanese Matcha Tea with Acai & Goji Berry Facial Mask is $40 and the Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream is $29.99.
The Verdict: Although the Pangea Organics Facial Mask was a bit fragrant in my opinion (and not my favorite!), it still did the job and is SO good for your skin. I wish it were a little more affordable (so I can buy a whole tube!) but I why it's so expensive based on the ingredients. The Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream made my hands so soft! I loved it! Despite the greasy texture at first, I figure it's worth the results. This cream is also an expensive product, but a little goes a long way and won't disappear as fast as your regular skin creams and lotions.
