Polaroid Fotobar :: Turn Your Photos Into Father's Day Gifts! {PLUS $50 Giveaway - Ends 6/12}

Father's Day is just around the corner! But alas, I am a horrible gift-giver for the pure and simple fact that I'm a perfectionist. This causes me to want a gift to be absolutely perfect, but when I can't think of something unique, I resort to a feeling of failure and I go with something totally cliché. Tie or wallet anyone? Thankfully, there are a bunch of awesome sites like Polaroid Fotobar that turn a cliché photo gift into a totally awesome cliché photo gift instead. Impress Dad this year by printing up some cherished memories that he can enjoy for years to come!

At Polaroid Fotobar you can turn your digital photos into old-school Polaroid-style printed photos (available in five sizes), coasters, magnets, easels, or an indestructible photo called a Polaplex. Not into the whole Polaroid thing? That's okay, because they create custom art products too! Choose from lots of ways to print your photos including Framed Art, Metal Art, Mounted Art, Lucite Art and lots more. For me, I chose to do a framed art photo, complete with premium grade satin paper, two mats, shatter resistant tempered glass, and a heavy aluminum frame. There are many mat colors available, and several frames to choose from.

Hubby just got a job promotion, complete with an actual office and door instead of a cubicle. He has no idea I ordered this Framed Art print for his office, so at this point I think I'm wrapping it for Father's Day. Instead of a little tiny frame from the craft store and a Wal-Mart print, I've got this gorgeous 9 x 11 photo in an 11 x 14 finished metal frame. This is what I mean by totally awesome!

Each print is handcrafted in the USA by skilled artisan framers. Our 21-step quality assurance system uses state of the art printing techniques, premium-grade paper, and unmatched framing standards and turns your favorite photos into museum quality art.

As far as quality? I'm very impressed by Polaroid Fotobar. It was incredibly quick to order and took no more than 5 minutes to upload the photo from my SD card and select my options to finish my order. You can upload from other places like your phone, computer, Instagram, and facebook too. I knew I wanted this photo regardless, but Polaroid Fotobar informed me of my photo's quality so I would be aware. They rated it as "good" with three out of five stars and suitable for the portrait size I chose. Had it not been suitable, they would have let me know. I love how it turned out! I ordered the Blue Jean mat with a White bottom accent mat. It looks so clean and sleek! The aluminum frame is heavy and beautifully made too. On the back is a place to hang the frame using a nail or screw.

I can't rave enough about the durable packaging too. The whole frame and portrait was wrapped in black paper, then in bubble wrap, and then surrounded by Instapak foam pieces before put in the shipping box. Although your satisfaction is guaranteed, you can bet your product won't arrive to you damaged at all.

The options I ordered add up to $44.95 which may seem a bit expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. I absolutely LOVE it and I'm sure Hubby will as well. I can't wait to give it to him!

I would probably upload a photo and get a nice black and white polaroid print of it.

I am wanting either metal art or lucite art, or I might put the GC towards an order with both!

I would buy several magnets and a few coasters. I wish the pivot book was available, I'd LOVE one of those!
