About the Designer...

Hi, I am Vicky Heiner and I love to craft! I am a SAHM with 4 crazy kids, and a busy husband. We live in Northern Utah. My husband just went back to school and if I didn't have something to do for myself I would go insane. I make items for kids and families to use together, and accessories for moms and their daughters. I also love to repurpose things. I think it is the pack rat in me. I enjoy turning something old into something new and different. I started my store and blog at the beginning of this year to share my ideas with others and to get out there with other women in the same boat. My inspiration to share ideas were all the women out there sharing their ideas, and my mom for teaching me how to use a sewing machine.

Vicky sent me one of her Felt Crayon Kits to review for you. It's a great size for your purse, and is about the size of a day planner. There is a small notepad and 8 crayons included. It simply folds up and fastens with a grosgrain ribbon loop around the flip-flop button to close. It's almost entirely made of felt otherwise, with the other exception being the grosgrain ribbon on the inside at the top of the crayon slots. This helps reinforce the openings and creates durability.

I love that the spot for a notepad is included in this kit. All too often I have a pen in my purse, but no paper for Buddy. This kit is perfect for outings to occupy the kids, and keep them busy!! No more noisy kids in church, or bored kids at the doctor's office! You can easily replace the notepad or crayons once they're used. Vicky used some fabulous colors for this kit, just like the rest of her shop! So bright and happy! I should also note that this kit is ONLY $6.50!!
