About the Designer...

Hi! Everyone at my house calls me Kitty. "Neko" is the Japanese word for cat, so the translation of my store's name is roughly "Kitty Knits" I thought it was clever! I am a full time nursing student and I love to make pretty things. I use yarn, string, beads and anything else I can get my hands on, I'll knit but mostly crochet. Right now I have been focusing on hair accessories and jewelry, I also love making purses and shawls, but lately I haven't had the time to devote to larger projects. 

I am inspired by different cultures, I love looking at traditional clothing, jewelry and hair pieces and then trying to incorporate it into what I make.

I haven't had an Etsy store for very long, only a few months, but I have always loved to make unique handmade gifts for friend. I love finding ways to make old things beautiful again and then find people to "adopt" them into loving homes.

NekoKnits is a cute little Etsy shop, with a variety of different types of crafts. Kitty is crafty in many areas, including crocheting. Her shop is great if you need a unique handmade gift!

Kitty sent me the Lacey "Mom" Necklace! This delicate necklace was carefully made with tiny beads incorporated within the crocheted strand. At the end, a beautiful charm with "Mom" on it! I love it! It makes me feel extra special as a mom that Kitty would think of sending me this beautiful necklace. :) This necklace is very lightweight, crocheted perfectly and is the perfect length for your neckline. It's closure is a loop and bead. It fits tightly so you don't have to worry about it falling out.

This necklace is perfect for your own mom, or a special mom you have in your life. It's great for a mom's birthday, Mother's Day, Christmas, or anytime just to show you care. 

 

This necklace, like most creations at NekoKnits, is one-of-a-kind. Kitty enjoys dabbling in different designs and mediums, so if you see something you like, you better grab it! She recently even created this Scrabble Tile Pendant!
