You'll find only 100% organic cotton on the exterior of Eco Lunch Gear products. This organic cotton is fully certified to GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) and is also certified Fair Trade and CPSIA (Consumer Products Safety Commission Improvement Act) compliant. Eco Lunch Gear products are made in Michigan and NOTHING is outsourced (which is awesome!). Their supplies come from companies who use Fair Trade practices, and they are even recognized by Green America as a green company. 

Eco Lunch Gear really embodies what it means to be green and they take their "green" lifestyle very seriously. The information I received with my 2 review products was even printed on 100% recycled paper with ink from a recycled ink cartridge. Green down to the little details! 

I received a Sandwich Wrap and Snack Bag to review! 

The Sandwich Wrap is a very versatile product for your lunch. Wrap your sandwich or other food, then use it as a placemat instead of a plate or extra napkin. Unwrapped it measures approximately 13" x 15". The wrap is closed using velcro, and even has an extra velcro tab to attach it to so it won't stick to anything in the wash. It holds in all the crumbs and all the mess with it's interior nylon material. It's great for outings when we need to bring a PB&J sandwich. And no, the jelly doesn't seep through the material and get on everything!

 Inside the Snack Bag

The Snack Bag is a really unique design for a reusable bag measuring 3 1/2" x 6". It opens up completely so you don't even have to deal with crumbs in the corners that never come out and get fully clean.  It also has extra velcro tabs for the laundry to avoid sticking to other things. It's perfect for all Buddy's snacks that inevitably get smashed or crunched in my bag (or by him!), and I know I don't have to worry about the crumbs coming out either. The design at the bottom corners when close overlap slightly, allowing for a snug corner!

Both products have impeccable craftsmanship, and are very high quality. They also has a label on the front so you can write your name (see first photo). All their products can be machine washed and dried, although they will last longer if hand washed and line dried. You can wash them at night with the dishes and have them ready to pack lunches in the morning! 

I should mention that their nylon on the inside is actually polyurethane coated nylon, with the polyurethane coating on the inside away from your food. Eco Lunch Gear has found that the coating helps keep your food fresh. It's also been tested and is free of heavy metals, phthalates, and lead. The nylon is resistant to water, stains, mildew, and rot which means moist foods are absolutely great in Eco Lunch Gear products too!

The Verdict: I think these are great reusable products! The cost is absolutely worth the high quality materials and craftsmanship you receive. Eco Lunch Gear clearly takes great pride in their products, and offers only the best for their customers. I also LOVE all the patterns they have!
