Carol's Cookies Review

When I first came across Carol's Cookies, I knew I had to try them! If you make a batch of cookies with me in the house, I will eat 10 of them before I realize it. So, I consider myself a qualified judge of a quality cookie!

First of all.....WOW! These are larger than the palm of my hand and they weigh in at a whopping 7 ounces each! They are also very tall and I would normally expect the inside to be slightly under baked, and the outside to be crispy. But no! Moist and perfectly baked! Have a big glass of milk ready to gulp down, because these huge chunks of deliciousness are richly intoxicating.
HUGE!

Carol's Cookies was so kind in sending me 3 of their gourmet cookies to review. Here is what I thought...

Toffee Crunch: So rich I can barely stand it....in a good way! There are lots of large chocolate chips, and buttery sweet toffee pieces.

Oatmeal Raisin: Can't really find the oatmeal, or see the texture/taste of the oatmeal. If you're looking for a chewy oatmeal type of cookie, this is not for you but is certainly a delicious cookie! A good bite of all the ingredients (ie nuts raisins, and cookie base) create a luxuriously tasty experience!

Chocolate Chip: Yummy! The chocolate chips are unlike any other store bought chocolate chip I've ever tasted. They're huge, and have a real chocolatey taste.

Each one had a buttery cookie base that tastes similar to the "fundraiser" cookies I remember the sports teams would sell in high school. Those were delicious too. The cookie base tasted the same for each cookie and almost tastes like cookie dough, which is sometimes my favorite part of baking! It almost had a "gritty" brown sugar texture as you finish a bite in your mouth. YUM. Although the cookie base was great, I was hoping for a difference in flavor with at least the Oatmeal Raisin cookie.

Toffee Crunch...loaded with goodies!

Carol's Cookies have a handmade quality, homemade taste, and are made of real, fresh ingredients, and contain no preservatives. You'll want to check out all the flavors. Watch out, your mouth will water!

Just as they recommend, I also found that you should freeze these cookies if you aren't going to eat them right away. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and I wasn't able to try all 3 cookies the same day. I saved one for a few days later, and it was noticeably harder than the first 2 I tried the day I received them. It was still delicious, and I did eat it all. :)

Price: You can buy Gift Packs, Tins, and more for various prices online. Each cookie comes to approximately $3, give or take.

The Verdict: These are just like a homemade cookie...baked to perfection and full of flavor! Although this may seem like an expensive cookie, they are huge! You can easily share with 2 or 3 people and still indulge and satisfy your craving. Thanks to Carol's Cookies for letting me sample their yummy cookies! I was not disappointed!
