Learn About New Technology with the Intel Experience - Only at Best Buy #IntelatBestBuy

Best Buy just debuted Intel Technology Experience zones at 50 stores around the country! Did you know that 79% of Americans are excited about the chance to learn and try out new technologies? But half are frustrated by the lack of access to them beyond what they read or see in the media, according to a new study by Intel and Toluna. I couldn't agree more. If I can't see and experience technology first-hand, I have a hard time understanding it, let alone committing to an actual purchase!

With this really set-up from Intel and Best Buy, the latest technology is at your fingertips, ready to try out for yourself. My family and I were lucky enough to get one of these cool Intel experience zones at our local Best Buy store.

The Intel Technology Experience lets customers – from tech enthusiasts to technophobes – play, explore, and be inspired by the power of technology with hands-on activities like 3D printing and virtual reality games. When I saw the 3D printing I thought "WHAT!!". Way too cool for words. For many, this is the first opportunity to see, touch, and play with exciting new technologies they’ve only heard about.

Averaging 240 square feet, the Intel Technology Experience will show customers the power of Intel: the technology behind these new, innovative activities is the same power behind the devices like tablets and laptops we love and rely on every day.

Customers can build and print their own 3D robot, show off their racing skills on Mars in an augmented reality world, master beats and remix tracks by Ne-Yo as a digital DJ, and check out the latest PC and tablet devices powered by Intel processors. The boys had fun being DJ's together!

The area is supposed to be staffed by specially trained Best Buy Blue Shirts to answer questions and help customers make the most of each area within the experience. Although I must say we were able to navigate through all these cool Intel technology activities without any guidance. It was a nice, casual afternoon with the family! Each season, Intel will be refreshing the venues with a new array of technology experiences too.

We definitely had fun exploring the Intel Technology Experience at Best Buy. For more information about the Intel Technology Experience areas, including a list of stores, visit www.bestbuy.com/intel.

Too bad--I just went in and checked--there are none anywhere near me. I definitely would like to go in and see what it is all about. I probably would need a lot of guidance!

This looks like a lot of fun. I don't make it in to our local Best Buy too often, I will have to see if ours has this to check out the Intel Technology Experience

I did not know that Best Buy had learning platforms to help me learn the new technology. I think that is a good idea when it comes to learning all the new computers and gadgets that are out there!
