"Made With Love" Event: CTH Designs Review and Giveaway Ends 4/3

About the Designer...
My Name is Maria the blogger behind Close To Home. I live in VA with my 3 children, husband and cat. I am a SAHM with some outside interests including subbing at my son’s preschool and volunteering at the elementary school. One of my side projects is making headbands, Key Fobs, Pony O’s for school spirit wear or simply to adorn your outfits. I was making the headbands for my daughter when one of her teachers recommended calling the school’s bookstore. That started the ball rolling as to getting local schools and businesses to order them. Most of my left over energy is focused on the blog where I have recipes, crafts, entertaining and gardening tips. I choose inexpensive activities that still are special but not very costly. I have been blogging since 2009.

I received the purple zig zag woven headband to review! The design is really fun and the ends are well hidden and finished. The headband under the ribbon is plastic and somewhat flexible. I usually find headbands to fit really funny on my head and they usually hurt too! This was not the case at all with this one! I found it to be quite comfortable and it didn't slide around while doing normal chores around the house. It stayed put like a great headband should! I gave the headband to my little sister to test out (she's 7) and it fit her head well too. I'll be sending it back her way soon so she can wear it with all her cute coordinating clothes. Such a cute accessory!
