Bellefit Postpartum Recovery Girdles & Corsets {Giveaway - Ends 7/12}

When Buddy was born six years ago, I learned a lot about postpartum recovery that no one really talks about. Something I didn't expect was just how out-of-whack my body would be after my cesarean. I had zero core strength so I was constantly hurting my back the first couple months. My recovery was long, painful and difficult as a result. I tried a simple wrap support at one point, but it wasn't too helpful and lacked actual support. This time I knew I wanted to help support my body correctly so I could function better, and sooner, than my previous post-birth experience.

I received complimentary product for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own.

Preparing for the birth of my daughter, I researched various styles and brands of postpartum support girdles and corsets to use after birth. Not knowing whether I would actually achieve a VBAC (I did!), I needed a product that would work effectively for a vaginal or cesarean delivery. I saw many complaints about some types of girdles riding up and becoming a nuisance more than anything. In light of this, I was thrilled to come across Bellefit and their postpartum girdles and corsets that fit like a high-waisted undergarment.

Bellefit is the leading brand of medical-grade postpartum recovery girdles and corsets. They offer four styles to choose from depending on your body shape, measurements and type of delivery. There is an easy to use sizing calculator so you can be sure you're ordering the size you need.

The Corset style was suggested based on my measurements, my prior cesarean and hope for a VBAC this time. The Corset style features two rows of front closure hooks vertically down the abdomen and also at the crotch for a totally adjustable fit. All Bellefit postpartum girdles and corsets are full-seated, so they don't ride up. They also don't roll down from the top either.

The medical-grade, high quality compression material is reinforced at the abdomen and back for real support of your core, back and spine after delivery. This Corset is seriously a heavy duty garment and is very well designed.

You can begin wearing your Bellefit girdle or corset the day you're discharged from the hospital. Due to some recovery complications, I wasn't able to wear my Bellefit Corset immediately after birth. The first time I put on my Bellefit corset was at three weeks postpartum. My stomach had naturally shrunk some prior to using my Corset, but my weak core and flabby midsection was quickly relieved upon wearing it.

Considering just how far out my pregnant belly was just before I delivered, woah mama, I needed as much support after as I could get! I carried waaaaay out there, and all the leftover belly in the front was really hurting my posture and pulling me forward. My Bellefit Corset held everything firmly in and encouraged better posture without too much effort on my part. Wearing the Corset allowed me to feel very supported during recovery. Also, goodbye muffin top! All the Bellefit girdles and corsets will completely smooth out your new curves, much like shapewear does. This is such a confidence booster at a time when many moms may feel negatively towards there body.

The Bellefit sizing calculator was definitely accurate for me, and ensured my Corset would be very snug fitting. Since I had a vaginal birth, I was up and moving pretty well from the beginning, but I still needed that core support, especially when I ventured out for doctor visits and little outings. I was really surprised with just how comfortable the Corset was, to the point that I'd forget I was wearing it!

I'm nearly back to my pre-pregnancy size and weight, with just a few pounds left to go at three months postpartum. I have the typical extra tummy skin that's still shrinking but otherwise I'm surprised at how well my stomach looks already. Being my second birth, I'm a bit shocked that my stomach is returning to normal (mommy-tummy normal, that is!) so soon. I definitely attribute some of that to my Bellefit Corset, which has undeniably been helpful in my recovery.

The postpartum stage after birth is a process. It's not a competition about who can "bounce back first" or gain back their flat stomach fastest. It's important to slow down and let your body heal properly as you care for your newborn in those early days. But there's not doubt that many women want and need physical support around their midsection after birth, regardless of how their baby was delivered. For me, wearing my Bellefit Corset wasn't about getting my body back. Sure, that's an added bonus, but really, I love the gentle yet firm support my Bellefit Corset provided when I needed it most.

I would love to use bellefit after this pregnancy because although I have stayed fit my belly is so heavy and it'd be nice to have some extra support while at home with a toddler and newborn!

I would love to try this bellefit I had my son 7 months ago and I can't lose this weight. I've tried and tried but it's so hard. Life is definitely more complicated with a son and adding exercise just hasn't worked for me.

I would love to try this bellefit girdle. I had my little girl on March 28 from an emergency c-section. Everything still feel like it's going to fall apart. I don't get alot of support from the binder I was given. My back hurts if I carry my little girl without the binder & the binder is very bulky.I haven't even started working out & I have the belly hanging. It would make me feel much more comfortable, & confident again. Thank you.

I'm dying to use a bellefit especially since I'm getting older (31) and this will be baby #3. With my hip and back pain, I feel like this will be more like a supporter than a shaper. Bit there nothing like having the best of both worlds!

Hey

This is my first blog ever and I'm unsure if I even registered for a chance to win this product correctly.

We just had our first baby- she is 7 weeks old. I have 5 more weeks left with her until I return to work #boo.

I have bought a few shape wear products from Macy's and Victoria's Secret in attempt to save money but get the same outcome as it seems te Bellefit does. However - all the products I have purschased - let me first off say I have not saved anything. Second- the products are not comfortable enough to wear all day.

We plan to have baby number two whenever he or she comes. With that said- we could very well get pregnant again soon. I still have 10 more pounds to lose and continue to love being s stay at home mom and get depressed thinking of returning to work and leaving my baby girl. I would love the opportunity to actually have a real Bellefit to wear now and again right after I have baby number two.

I feel as women we easily get down on ourselves for our physical appearance and we are our hardest judge. I would love to try the Bellefit out and gain some mental confidence back in myself. Winning a Bellefit would sure help me make the most out of returning to work.

I'd love to try this. I'm in my 3rd pregnancy and can tell recovery may not be so snappy as it has been before. :)

I'm about to have my first son and have heard such amazing things about the Bellefit but we just can't afford it right now. It would be such a blessing to win this so I can get my body back ASAP after little man is born.

I wish I had this with my first pregnancy. I had a lot of back pain while recovering. I am looking forward to hopefully getting one this time around, I could use the support while I care for my newborn and toddler!

So I am way past the pre-pregnancy stage but I still need support! Would love to try this since I haven't found any shapewear that is comfortable and can be worn all day!

I would LOVE to win the Bellefit Girdle! I am currently pregnant with baby #1 (baby girl due July 17th!). I have tried to be fit and active during my entire pregnancy (see www.erinrosefitness.com for bits of my journey) but have gained more weight than I intended and have mild diastase recti that I am hoping belle fit could help with! With baby number one coming and us moving across the country and my husband in graduate school and purchasing a new home in georgia I just dont have it in my budget to invest in one right now so i would love to win one :)

I'd love to win a girdle so I can fit back into my pre-prego pants again!

Actually I would like to give it to my daughter. She just had a baby and had to have emergency c section. I think this would help her a lot.

Because I cannot afford to buy one and my husband says its a scam to begin with, i would love to win one since I cannot buy one. Also, i keep getting more stomach stretch marks, my pooch isnt getting any smaller, my posture is awful, im uncomfortable in all of my clothes, the list goes on. I am miserable and need the compression.

I have discovered that my body is slower to recover after each baby. Unfortunately, after baby number 4, my belly muscles seem to have completely forgotten how to hold everything in. I'm hopeful that something like this would help me fee like my body isn't a lost cause.

I'm due with baby #4 in September and this will also be my fourth c-section. Each baby it seems it takes longer than the last to recover! I would love to try the bellefit, it sounds like exactly what I need!

This is my third pregnancy and I have felt I've needed extra support through out it all. I have a feeling it's going to be the same way after delivery. I would love this!
