(Closed) gDiapers Giveaway Ends 2/13

We made it! Wahoo! 100 followers (and counting!) in less than a week. That is amazing. I'm getting a lot of traffic and great feedback in such a short period of time. I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to all my fellow bloggers, followers, and every personal interaction that has helped grow this blog into something I am so excited about!

For those of you not familiar with gDiapers, they are a stylish cloth diaper brand that uses a cotton outer shell, with a snap-in nylon liner. Inside the liner you can place a 100% biodegradable disposable/compostable insert called gRefills that are flushable, or you can use reusable gCloth inserts. This is a great option for an eco-friendly, on-the-go family, or when traveling and you have no access to a washing machine to wash your diapers. Of course, if the shell does get soiled, you will need to change it. But they should be washed about every 3-4 changes anyway. The liner can be wiped clean between changes if it was just wet (and washed also every 3-4 changes) and a new insert (disposable or cloth) can be placed inside. I've found the gRefills to be pretty expensive. The gCloth option is much more cost effective because they are reusable, however, I never tried this option so I'm not sure how absorbent or well made they are.

gDiapers are a very trim style for a cloth diaper, and will fit better under pants than most if not all cloth diaper brands out there! A fluffy bottom is cute, but I like it when pants fit properly too! :) I wish I had photos of my son wearing his gDiapers to show you! He's outgrown the ones I have. : (  gDiapers also carries a bunch of adorable colors too!

The Verdict! gDiapers are a great choice if you are looking for a hybrid cloth diaper that is also very trim!

(Closed) Skoy Cloth Review and Giveaway Ends 2/6

 

Skoy Cloths are not your average dish cloth or sponge. They are the perfect size and thickness to do just about anything...in the kitchen OR around the house. I recently wiped down all my baseboards with a Skoy Cloth!

When dry (as shown above), the Skoy cloth is hard like a dry sponge, but is instantly malleable when wet (as shown below).They are super soft when wet, but still clean really well.
Skoy Cloths are easy to handle and unlike a dish cloth, you don't need to fold them for added thickness and strength. They are very durable and last a good month in the kitchen for me. Lots of new followers on my little blog already! It's GROWING like crazy, so welcome to you all! Notice the header and my button? My blog looks beautiful thanks to my wonderful hubby. :)  Here's a look at what's coming....

My first review and giveaway! Yep, you heard that right. It's coming this weekend in fact. Stay tuned because I will have details on another giveaway in the works after that too. The Cloth Diaper community is going to LOVE the next one (start following on GFC NOW!!)! 

The Facebook profile still has no photo but we're working on it. Think pretty flowers and something else to match the blog! :) I'm hoping to have it done by the time the first review/giveaway is up, but techinical issues for this not-so-techy mama are sure to pop up! Wish me luck on that one!

Welcome to my Blog

My first post! After almost a year of interacting with so many fabulous mommy blogs around, I've decided to take the plunge. I'm still figuring out what to focus on, but I am a huge fan of reviews and giveaways! I have a large following on twitter already, so I hope to attract some sponsors in the near future to kick things off!
