Custom-Made Books for Kids from Paper Hat Press : Review & Giveaway! Ends 6/19

I've ordered a couple custom, personalized books from other companies in the past, but none were quite as easy or in depth as Little Super from Paper Hat Press. Not only can you add your child's name in the story, but also personalize sentences about their favorite things, family members and more. You can even the physical appearance of the story's character and include a small dedication message to the recipient on the first page.

My son gets SO excited when I read him Little Super. One of the personalized areas for this book says "Every superhero needs to eat. (Child's Name) ate yummy (you choose!)." My came out saying this: "Every superhero needs to eat. Buddy ate yummy broccoli and carrots." Of course Buddy isn't my sons real name, but you get the picture. I personalized it that way since I'm hoping Buddy will put eating-healthy and being-super together and continue his good eating habits! :) Besides, he really does love to eat those anyway. 

I was amazed to see all the options available for personalizing the character's physical appearance. Above is four different appearances as they would actually appear in Little Super, depending on what options you choose. You get to choose the skin tone, hair color, hair style, hair length and eye color. The character itself is whimsical and not totally life-like, but having the character have the same hair and eyes as the recipient makes it really extra special. My son loves to think that HE is actually in this book. It's fantastic!

Paper Hat Press currently has 4 titles to choose from: Little Super, Little Sparkle, Little Star, and Whose Birthday Is It?. There is a new one coming out sometime in July and it will be circus-themed! I'm so thrilled to see more titles continue to come out in the future. These are fantastic books as birthday gifts, for Christmas, and other life events. There's nothing quite like a customized keepsake gift that the recipient will treasure for years to come. Kids really dig this sort of thing too!
