About the Designer...
My name is Jean Hallum and I live near Kansas City, MO.  I offer a variety of products in my etsy shop, such as flour sack towels, paper free towels, boutique baby gift items, etc.  When I was 7 years old, my grandmother taught me to construct garments.  I had to use a needle and thread as she didn't allow me to use her sewing machine.  At age 12, I began designing and constructing clothing for myself.  I always made doll clothes for my daughter as well as home decor for myself.  I still spend quite a bit of time designing and constructing "over the top" Halloween costumes for my family.  Since I spent the past 25+ years working in the corporate world, the time I have been able to spent creating has been limited, however I no longer work and spend most of my time "creating" or traveling the world to photograph wildlife!

Review...
I'm sure many of you have changed the way we do things to go a little more "green" or eco-friendly. Using reusable snack bags, reusable grocery bags, cloth diapers, or recycling might be some of the things that you have implemented. One area that I haven't ventured into yet is paper free towels. jjh Creations makes beautiful ones that will cause you to change to paper free towels too.
Paper Free Towels from jjh Creations are 11.5" x 11.5", and are made using a single layer of Birdseye cotton. The edges are serged using bright, fun colors like the variegated red, white, and blue I received. How festive and patriotic! How fun would it be to have a set in every color for holidays, events, and for having company over? These reusable towels are made very professionally, and the serging is absolutely impeccable. I personally don't know how intricate the serging process is, but I would imagine that getting that edge perfect every time is not easy. Each one I received was PERFECT! The birdseye cotton is very lightweight, sturdy, and washes well too.
Paper Free Towels have many uses. You can clean with them, use them as cloth napkins at mealtime, or even use them just like you would a diposable paper towel. I like to use these to place my washed produce on. The Paper Free Towels are absorbent and easily soak up extra moisture, while still providing a barrier between the fruit and counter top. Just add a little water and these are also the perfect duster cloths since the birdseye cotton is slightly textured to pick up dust easier.

I really want to get more of these in the future. Jean has so many beautiful colors to choose from, and she sells Paper Free Towels in bundles of 6 for $7, or 12 for $12. Paper Free Towels will save you money and time spent on impromptu trips to the store for paper towels, all while going a little more eco-friendly along the way.

Be sure to check out some of Jean's other items like her Kitchen Towels and her embroidered Flour Sack Towels!

  18. I would love to win some Mocha Paper Free towels. Our mastiff drools ALOT and we go through so many hand towels in a day. we have one waiting in every room, or we fly through paper towels. I always hate to wash the thick hand towels so frequently since I don't want to waste water. this is the perfect solution!
