(Closed) CafePress Journal Review & Giveaway Ends 6/2

 

You may remember my last review of CafePress back in March for St. Patricks Day organic t-shirts. Well, this time I'm here to show you they sell products for everyday use too! To refresh your memory, here's a little more about CafePress: 

Started in 1999, CafePress is an amazing concept. It is comprised of a community of artists and designers who actually make the designs you find on their website. CafePress just prints the design on their t-shirt, mug, stationery, stickers, etc. once ordered, and sends it to the customer. Simply put, CafePress is an online store where you can find a variety of custom gifts for any occasion, and that fit your individual style and interests.

I like CafePress because it allows all sorts of artists from all ranges of experience to do what they love and earn money while doing it. By making a purchase at CafePress, you're supporting the artist who came up with the design. Not only that, but YOU can make your own design or logo and add it to any of CafePress' products too. I'd love to personalize something like their water bottles with "The Reynolds Mom" on it one of these days!

Alright, so check out the Art Nouveau Flowers Journal I chose to review this time around. You can find TONS of beautiful journals at CafePress. You can't tell me there aren't any designs for your taste...that's virtually impossible! There are SO many to choose from. And remember, you can design your own too.

The 5" x 8", 160-page journal features a beautiful black, white, and gray floral design printed on a glossy, laminated paper. The back cover is a black flexible plastic that feels comparable in weight and texture to the front cover. The journal is Wire-O bound, which means the ends are hidden between the last page and the back cover, and no pokey wires hang out to bug you! :) It's filled with 60lb paper that is lined on each side, college-ruled style. You can actually customize the type of paper you'd like: blank, dot grid, lined college-ruled, or task. The paper feels really nice and thick, and isn't thin like the paper you find in some planners.

This journal isn't just for stashing your secrets! It's great to use as a daily task list to put in your purse, or a price-comparison list for the coupon savvy shoppers out there. Do you like to doodle? Keep it with you when you're out and draw when you feel inspired. Or, always have something for your kids to color on too! This really has many uses! These journals would also make a great gift for a friend or loved one.

The Verdict: Overall, this journal is really high quality and nicely bound. It's a bit pricey, but you're supporting the artist who created this beautiful design too!
