(Closed) Boogie Wipes Review and Giveaway Ends 3/20

Lets be real here. Colds, snots, boogers, and runny noses are inevitable with every kid. The solution is always a dry, dreaded tissue or a sleeve, right? Not anymore! Boogie Wipes have changed all that!

Boogie Wipes are super soft, pre-moistened saline wipes. Created by two moms in 2007, they are the first saline nose wipe of its kind. Saline is the same ingredient used in nasal sprays. Saline is natural, and quickly breaks down mucus and boogers to easily wipe them away. The wipes are also alcohol, phthalate and paraben free which is fantastic. They are hypoallergenic, and include moisturizing ingredients like Vitamin E, Chamomile, and Aloe. Each package has a little hinged top similar to a disposable baby wipes tub so they won't dry out. 

I have used Boogie Wipes before, and was very excited to have the opportunity to write a review for their company. They were very kind in sending me a full 30-pack in the grape scent, a bunch of individually wrapped wipes in all the scent varieties, and a sample of their new adult line called Achooz. The moms who invented Boogie Wipes are seriously geniuses. It makes me question, "WHY didn't I think of that!?!"

When I first came across Boogie Wipes last year, I was very intrigued but skeptical. At the time, Buddy had a horrible cold and waking up with a dry, crusty nose was torture for the poor little guy. A regular, dry tissue rubbed his nose raw, didn't get everything and left me with one very upset kiddo! Instead, a Boogie Wipe completed the task in half the time, half the wipes across the nose, and with very little discomfort. I'm SO glad I found them before that nasty cold. So yes, they really do work! I keep a package of Boogie Wipes handy so I'm armed and ready for the next cold in this house. They're great for my horrible allergy days too. The individually wrapped Boogie Wipes are the perfect little size to stash a few in your purse too.

They come in fresh, grape, menthol, and unscented varieties. The scents smell great, although I wonder what's REALLY in them. Unfortunately a lot of harmful chemicals can sometimes be hidden in the "fragrance" ingredient. I usually don't mind fragrances, but this time they are right next to your skin and are quite fragrant. The grape smells similar to chewable Tylenol tablets from when I was a kid. I liked it! I prefer the unscented variety myself (because their is no "fragrance" ingredient), although the scents seem to encourage Buddy to actually try blowing his own nose.

I would encourage you to check out their current promotion called Save The Sleeve. It's a great way to help kids learn to use a Boogie Wipe, and not their sleeves!

Price: You'll pay around $3 for a pack of 30 wipes. That makes each wipes only $.10 which is well worth a happy nose and child!

Verdict: Overall, I love the the whole concept of Boogie Wipes and that they are very effective in making a cold seem less miserable. I'm excited to see what they come up with next!
