Simply Merino is a Canadian company I am proud to feature for the third year in a row! Made in New Zealand, their 100% Merino Wool sleep wear and play wear for newborns up to age 12 is just fantastic. Buddy is now in the 7-8 size so we selected matching top and bottom thermal underlayers in the heather grey. He'd wear them all day if I let him!

Now that we're in the larger sizes (7/8, 9/10, & 11/12), the top has thumb holes to keep wrists warm, although they don't have to be worn like this. Buddy thinks this is the coolest thing ever though!

As our third pair, I can attest to the beautiful quality and durability of Simply Merino. They wash like a dream, they're light yet insulating, stretchy and super soft for total comfort. Buddy tends to be a hot sleeper still, but he never complains when wearing natural fibers, and especially not with these. They're always Buddy's go-to pajamas! If we were in a colder climate, these would definitely be the perfect thermal layers for snowy weather. Perhaps we'll make it to the snow this winter, and if so Buddy will be wearing his Simply Merinos.

For the practical gift this Christmas, I highly recommend investing in a pair of these for every kid in your family. They will definitely make it through a couple kiddos too, so I've saved the previous pairs for little sister when the time comes. They even make infant gowns, baby sleepers and other Merino Wool accessories, including baby gift sets! You can't go wrong with gifting Simply Merino!
