About the Designer...

Hi my name is Michelle. I live in South Florida with my lovely husband and my two, 3 year old, awesome and slightly crazy twin daughters. I started crocheting as a form of stress relief. Life as a mom of twins, wife, and full-time project coordinator at my day job was a bit too much and I needed something just for me to help tone down the hustle and bustle of the day. Once I started though I could not stop. I'm constantly amazed at how a simple ball of yarn and a hook can be turned into such beautiful and interesting things. I tend to like a lot of modern fashion and design and I try to create things along those lines. Some designers (like Lianka Azulay from Bonita Patterns in Etsy, who inspired the petal necklaces) create such amazing and innovative designs and this opens up the world of crochet to endless possibilities. This isn't your granny's crochet! So what started as a form of stress relief less than a year ago and turned into a sincere desire to turn this into a career. When I'm not at my "real" job, or taking care of my husband and my two daughters, I'm crocheting. Every spare minute, including every lunch hour and many nights of too little sleep, is dedicated toward this goal. :)

I received the Purple Petal Necklace to review! Made of 100% mercerized cotton and crocheted, it has a silver metal chain and a lobster clasp. I've never seen such a unique piece of jewelry! It's certainly a "dainty" piece and it's quite delicate. It gives any dressy top an elegant touch and will certainly have everyone talking. This necklace has tons of texture and is very well made. I love it!

I really love this Pink Petal Purse too!

Michelle from Dainty Loops also makes beautiful and unique scarves, neck warmers, cowls and more! I'd love to see her venture into crocheted hair accessories. I bet with her 2 little girls she'd have lots of fun clips and loops to create and design!
